Each bottle opener is about 6.25" long and weighs almost a pound!
Crafted entirely from salvaged Connecticut railway spikes once used on the route from New York City to New Haven.
These spikes were once used to secure railway ties to the tracks... so bottle caps stand no chance! Open up some beer and get ready to celebrate!

Build Process

Handcrafted in small batches by Nick Moreau, a third-generation blacksmith, at his New England workshop, Wicks Forge.
Each bottle opener is heated up in the forge and worked through several "heats" on the anvil into its final shape. The end is first flattened and then a small hole is punched out and expanded on the horn of the anvil.
