Summary: Hugo & Hoby collaborated with Elkus Manfredi Architects and Red Thread to design and fabricate 10 unique 16ft long communal tables for each floor of the space. The project represented the best of Hugo & Hoby's capabilities to work across mixed material and styles. Each table had unique materials and a unique design to embody the theme of each floor that Elkus Manfredi created for their client. Some tables featured marble tops, steel bases, and brass accents. One table featured tapered white oak tambour bases and solid white oak tops. Another table featured complex custom cnc turned white oak legs with steel base plates and laminate tops. Each table had the same overall needs for seating and was 16ft long and had both a counter-height section and a bar-height section. The project was a great showcase of how Hugo & Hoby can work across mixed materials to fabricate all of the custom designs for a space rather than working with 5-6 distinct shops where coordination between them is much more difficult.
