Summary : Designed in collaboration with Gensler for the AES Corporation headquarters in Arlington, Virginia, this custom furniture package pairs a precision-engineered boardroom table with a tailored rotunda banquette.
Spanning over 22 feet in the boardroom, the horseshoe-shaped conference table features a taupe linoleum writing surface framed by solid walnut knife-edge detailing and solid brass trim. It rests on a diewall base clad in warm walnut veneer and light brass aluminum, engineered with concealed access panels that seamlessly house various power and AV technologies.
Two levels down in the headquarters, a 22-foot curved rotunda banquette aligns with the architecture of the building's exterior glass line. Built with rift oak bases and an integrated back shelf precision-scribed to wrap along the glass and mullions, the seating pairs neutral putty cushions with rich blue-toned backrests to create a dedicated collaborative hub.
